Lake Parramatta in Spring

I was determined to catch some beautiful wild flowers this spring in Sydney. I ended up just taking a 10 minute drive to Parramatta Lake and was blown away by what I found. I counted at least 15 different wild flowers, including some of my favourites such as Hardenbergia and and Flannel Flowers. There are so many lovely places to stop a sit and view the lake, and is the perfect distance to make you feel like you've really gone exploring. However there is an awesome cafe at the end too which finally reminds you that you're still in the city! I can't explain how much I love where I live, and Western Sydney as a whole.
