Potted colour idea ( not how nanna uses them)

I always hated potted colour  as it reminded me of old ladies and their ugly petunias which I affectionately names "Spewtunias".

However one great thing to do with potted colour is to use instead of cut flowers! Find a pot that fits the basic potted colour size (you can just see the lip of the black plastic pot in my beautiful viola speciemen!) and  drop it in!

The best thing to do is to buy two (of different kinds or colours for variety) keeping one indoors on display and one outdoors getting some sunlight. Every week, or when you notice the indoor one struggling, swap them over!

This is a great way of having flowers that last more than a week or two, and costs about $5
