Sydney wildflowers!
There is nothing more beautiful than Australian wildflowers. Instead of buying a bunch of exotic imposters this week, keep your eye out for these! Elaeocarpus reticulatus ( Blueberry Ash) has the most delicate fringed flowers, like a tutu on a ballerina. My favourite at the moment is Osothamnus diosmifolius ( Rice Flower) with tiny balls of creamy flowers. The scent is amazing, like honey. It reminds me of a dry day in the bush where the earth crunches under your feet, and the smells of eucalyptus, honey, and citrus are so fresh and uplifting. I doubt there is anywhere in the world which has such crisp, clean air.
So pick a few native flowers, put them beside your bed and enjoy mother nature at its best x
